Sicilian Day in the World

This 15th of May is the "Sicilian Day in the World", commemorating the anniversary of the Statute of Autonomy of the Sicilian Region. On May 15, 1946, the last king of Italy, Umberto II, enacted the Statute of Autonomy of Sicily.

In the meantime , "Day of the Sicilian Emigrated" is also commemorated, by various associations and no-profit organizations around the world in honor of all those islanders who have decided to leave their homeland to work and form their families in other Countries.

This year the Confederation of Sicilians in North America(CSNA) will share the celebration with other brother and sisters Sicilians leaving abroad with presentations of memories, pictures, and other activities.
